Job Description

A Digital Content/UX Writing Intern will collaborate with designers, strategists, developers and account managers. Daily tasks include UX and SEO content writing, brainstorming concepts and topics, website planning, and participating in client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Write insight-driven, strategic web content and online marketing copy for both business and consumer audiences; tactics may include web pages, blog articles, digital ads, social posts, emails, and video scripts
• Perform keyword research to inform search engine optimization
• Develop information architecture and user paths for websites, digital programs and campaigns
• Collaborate with designers and developers to build wireframes for digital content and with a studio production team on crafting digital posts
• Shadow mentor and other colleagues in client meetings as appropriate
• Work on multiple client projects with changing priorities and timelines/deadlines
• Learn and use new content tools and platforms used by the agency and our clients
• Participate in Internship Project
• Opportunity to create visual content for social media, web pages, and ads
• All other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• A portfolio of digital content work, including short- and long-form web copy, video and/or radio scripts, social media content, and/or UX planning
• Familiarity with the MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to learn other tools and platforms used by the agency and our clients
• Ability to work 24 hours per week
• Located within driving distance of our Harrisburg, PA facility and available to work onsite or remotely as needed
• Completion of college courses in relevant subjects, such as marketing, advertising, journalism, writing/English literature, UX, communications, public relations, etc.

This internship position is paid and is eligible for college credit. It is the intern’s responsibility to coordinate with their academic institution to arrange for credit. We will provide any necessary documentation and evaluations required by your college or university.
