Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.Job DutiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectivesLead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including collaborating with leadership to design executive compensation plans and equity-based incentives; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to executive compensationUtilize data analytics to gather insights, make data-driven decisions, and measure the effectiveness of total rewards programsRecruit, develop, and lead a high-performing total rewards team; act as a mentor and coachDevelop strategies to educate employees and managers on the organization's total rewards programs, ensuring transparency and understandingDrive the adoption of our HR organization process improvements through accountability and high expectations for excellencePartner effectively with the HR leadership team to ensure alignment and relevance of programs to all business groups; foster a continuous feedback loop to support effective communicationCompetenciesPossess a deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles, including market analysis, salary structures, incentive programs, and executive compensation; Proficiency in optimizing HR operations processesA strategic mindset to align rewards with the organization's business objectives and drive performanceProven ability to lead and motivate a global team of Human Resource professionals: Achieves organizational focus on key priorities, establishes clear expectations, sets objectives, delegates, actively communicates and coaches; a committed mentor, people developer and team builder.Highly experienced at working effectively across multiple levels of an organization and building successful cross functional partnerships.Strong influencer and leader through change and are motivated by the challenge of a fast-paced, high-growth global environment.Considered a respected leader by your peers, direct reports, and executive management.Able to articulate problems that are not clearly defined and require in depth understanding of organizational objectives and develop a roadmap to address.Unafraid to explore new ideas and technologies.Must be analytical and able to make informed decisions based on experience and sound instincts in complex and rapidly changing environments.Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and bring multiple parties together to drive key initiatives.An awareness and sensitivity to the diverse needs and expectations of employees in a multicultural and inclusive global workplaceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalentPHR or SPHR designation, desired15+ years of progressively responsible relevant HR experience including 7+ years in leadership rolesProven experience as a VP, Compensation, Benefits or HRIS or other Sr HR roleDemonstrated track record in building high performing teamsProven track record of organizational leadership, inspiring innovation, and building collaborative, high-performing teamsStrong leadership, communications, interpersonal skills to drive execution across the organizationExcellent judgment, problem solving, decision-making, and influence skills are criticalStrong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulatory rulesStrategic thinker with the ability to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and develop and execute programsAbility to travel internationally up to 10%Belief in DiversitySynaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
