Job Description

• Join the Lakeshore Chinooks this summer for a unique, hands-on experience in TV production within collegiate summer baseball. This position offers behind-the-scenes access to the operations of a sports organization in the Northwoods League, with a focus on live television production. This position provides an exciting opportunity to assist in producing all 36 home games for the Northwoods League live stream and ESPN+. Webcast Interns play a vital role in creating an exceptional fan experience, supporting pre- and post-game setup and cleanup of broadcast equipment, and contributing to external events throughout the season. This unpaid summer internship runs from mid-May to late August and requires availability for all 36 home games.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and teardown cameras and webcast equipment for each home game.
• Operate and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, switchers, and audio/sound systems.
• Use professional video production terminology to ensure smooth communication with the webcast team.
• Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality live broadcasts.
• Work closely with Broadcast/Commentator Interns to enhance the production.
• Share video highlights with the social media team for nightly posting on various platforms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available for all Chinooks home games (which include weeknights, weekends, and someholidays)
• Must be available for any Chinooks related special events
• Completion of assigned tasks on schedule
  •Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability, and proper attitude in dealing with others including customers
• Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality, and housekeeping policies, procedures, andpractices
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a current student (undergraduate or graduate)
• Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as outside contacts
  •Strong time management and attention to detail
