Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist

Location: Woodland, California

We are seeking a licensed and experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Woodland, California. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children improve their quality of life through personalized therapy plans and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student's needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals.
• Provide therapy services to students in accordance with the individualized treatment plan.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement educational and therapeutic plans for students.
• Document student progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for therapy services.
• Provide education and training to teachers, parents, and other school professionals on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Requirements:

• A valid California Occupational Therapy license.
• A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
