Akkodis is seeking a Hadoop Developer for a Contract job with a client in Newark, DE(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and its tools, as well as proficiency in Spark and at least one programming language, such as Python or Scala.

Rate Range: $62/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hadoop Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing integrated technical applications in the Hadoop data lake platform.

• Designing and coding solutions from conceptualization to post-implementation support.

• Developing reusable utilities and enhancing existing ones.

• Collaborating with project managers and technical managers to meet business needs.

• Performing design and code reviews to ensure efficiency and quality.

• Driving data integration practices and ensuring consistency across projects.

• Providing technical expertise in the development of medium-to-complex data products.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in a relevant field.

• 7+ years in data warehousing and at least 3 years in big data (Cloudera).

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem and its tools, as well as proficiency in Spark and at least one programming language (Python/Scala).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and project success.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $65.00 per hour
