About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety, Security, and Environmental to lead the operational effectiveness and sustainability of safety programs, security measures, and environmental impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring, development, oversight, and regulatory compliance of various safety and security programs, including the Internal Evaluation Program, Emergency Response Program, and SMS Program. This role requires a leader who can ensure the highest level of safety process promotion, compliance with federal regulations, and effective risk management. The Vice President will also be the primary point of contact for all accident and incident investigations and will be expected to make safety-related budgetary decisions, as well as recommendations for regulatory compliance and safety programs. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of subject-matter expertise in aviation safety, security, and environmental, with at least 6 years' in a leadership or supervisory role within Part 121. A full understanding of aviation safety standards, Federal Aviation Regulations, and OpSpecs is essential. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree from an accredited university and prior experience managing multiple safety, security, and regulatory compliance programs. Key skills include effective communication, the ability to work autonomously, time management, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to handle high-stress situations. The role also requires the ability to work with a diverse team and to make decisions that align with the company's values of safety, kindness, integrity, ingenuity, and excellence.
