About the Role
The Company is seeking a Compliance Audit Vice President to play a key role in the oversight, design, and execution of the annual AML audit plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing evidence materials to ensure compliance with regulations, regulatory expectations, and internal policies. This includes the design and execution of audit tests, documentation of results, and the resolution of control issues. The role also involves evaluating management action plans, coordinating with stakeholders to identify emerging and systemic control issues, and assisting with regulatory and external auditor inquiries. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and 7-12 years' of related experience in control, risk, compliance, or audit within a large banking environment. Experience with computer-assisted auditing tools, a strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirements, and a working knowledge of internal audit processes are essential. Professional certifications such as CAMS or other audit-related certifications are preferred. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to effectively communicate and work with various stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of compliance and control are maintained.
