Our client is seeking a System Administrator - SAP Basis to join their team. As a System Administrator - SAP Basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to manage multiple assignments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Administrator - SAP Basis

Location: San Antonio, TX

What's the Job?

• Monitor all SAP systems activity daily, including SAP ECC 6, BI/BW, HANA, and other SAP systems.
• Maintain SAP ECC and BW profile configurations, adjusting for performance improvements as needed.
• Administer and monitor background processing and batch jobs, ensuring smooth operations.
• Manage the importing of SAP transports through typical landscapes: development, quality assurance, and production.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for various audits and provide necessary documentation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university, or relevant technical system administration experience.
• SAP certifications are preferred.
• Experience working in a Linux-based server environment, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to SAP Basis and Oracle database performance.
• Ability to execute assigned tasks with limited instruction and provide task status updates.
