Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX . The role involves guiding teams to improve efficiency, resolving impediments, and managing backlog structure with the Product Owner.

Rate Range: $76/hour to $76/hour

Scrum Master job responsibilities include:

• Leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Ensuring the team follows Agile practices and processes, maintaining an effective and structured backlog with the Product Owner.

• Mitigating and resolving impediments that may impact team progress.

• Analyzing sprint metrics and burn-down charts to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Guiding the team in maximizing self-organization and maintaining focus on project goals.

• Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring clear communication between the development team and the Product Owner.

• Supporting continuous improvement in team effectiveness and delivery efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Agile environments.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies, including Scrum.

Pay Details: $76.00 per hour
