Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist at Mather Hospital . The ideal candidate should be committed to evidence-based care, energetic, innovative, and enjoy a collaborative, team-based approach.
This is a truly unique opportunity to join the Adult Partial Hospital Program team at Mather Hospital . The Adult Partial Hospitalization program is an outpatient behavioral health treatment intervention designed to stabilize acute symptoms of mental illness for adults. Responsibilities include:
Mather Hospital, a member of Northwell Health, is an accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital. Mather is one of the few Long Island hospitals to offer inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for both adolescents and adults. It is the only acute care hospital in Suffolk County with an adolescent psychiatric unit and an adolescent partial hospitalization program.
