Role: Oracle Systems Engineer

Location: Local to MN or SD- 30% travel

Salary: $130,000 to $140,000 with 10% bonus potential

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Oracle Systems Engineer to manage and optimize our Oracle EBS R12 environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle EBS R12, Oracle databases, and related technologies like Java Forms, Apex, and Oracle middleware. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, particularly in a highly customized Oracle environment, and collaborate with business stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Oracle EBS R12, including customization and configuration of ERP applications.
• Work with business and IT teams to resolve technical issues related to Oracle systems and databases.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a highly customized Oracle environment.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement Oracle system updates, patches, and configurations.
• Provide technical leadership on Oracle EBS and related technologies to ensure system stability and performance.
• Support system migrations, including code migrations and database management tasks.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12, Oracle databases, and other Oracle technologies (Apex, Java Forms, etc.). (Older versions of Oracle won’t do him any good)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle database management.
• Experience with Oracle EBS customization and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with Oracle patches and updates, with the ability to implement and resolve related challenges.
• Experience in system administration and troubleshooting Oracle-related applications and tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle’s technology stack and how it integrates with other enterprise systems.

Personal Attributes:

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying root causes of technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while ensuring system reliability.
• Ability to travel to plant locations for system assessments and troubleshooting as needed (30% travel).
• A proactive approach to identifying and fixing system inefficiencies, improving performance, and maintaining system health.

Note : Role requires a candidate who is eager to learn and grow with the company, while playing a pivotal role in shaping and improving enterprise application processes. The systems engineer is critical for ensuring the reliability and optimization of Oracle-based systems.
