Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology space.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications in the Financial Crimes technology domain.

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, while supporting maintenance activities.

• Collaborating with business partners to define requirements and ensure alignment with system applications.

• Contributing to story refinement, estimating work, and performing proof-of-concept as needed.

• Automating continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Managing technical aspects of the application, including change management, platform upgrades, and interfacing with upstream and downstream systems.

• Partnering with Data Analysts and Developers to follow best practices in data sourcing, analysis, and modeling.

• Applying Agile methodologies and ensuring all enterprise change standards are met.

Desired Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of Java development experience, with expertise in MongoDB and Spring frameworks.

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, specifically with financial crimes or AML projects.

• Strong technical skills in J2EE, Spring, REST API, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
