JOB SUMMARY A Service Delivery Manager with broad experience of partnering various functions within a global company. Specific experience in understanding the requirements of Operations, Supply Chain, Risk, Compliance (and others), interpreting them into IT solutions and successfully delivering though a structured program of work. Seadrill's business strategy has technology and innovation at its core and this is an excellent opportunity to drive transformational change and deliver real value to a forward-thinking company.
These business functions have corporate and regional leadership and are currently going through a period of significant transformation. As part of this transformation, IT is helping these organisations with multiple projects and short term requests aligned to an end vision of driving efficiency through use of key applications, in particular Maximo. Newer Technologies, such as Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities are taking a more prominent role in our applications landscape and as such a forward thinking, continuous learning approach is required.
Extensive IT experience in one of the following industries is required: oil and gas, petrochemical, offshore drilling, or mining. This role necessitates collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including functional leaders, rig managers, and subject matter experts, to drive business improvement through the implementation of a clear IT strategy for the organization.
Passionate about goals and delivery and who have a strong sense of resilience. As approach and attitude are key to this role, the successful candidate will be expected to build rapport, engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels. Furthermore, successful candidates will possess strong portfolio management and organizational skills that are consistent with a fast moving and demanding environment. Service excellence is at the heart of this role, with a desire to drive continuous improvement in service levels for the Business. Working in a matrix, outsourced environment the candidate will be responsible for application support and vendor management for their area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Standards & Guidance - Process Management (establish, follow up and improve - ITIL)
- Maximize supplier value to Seadrill
- Responsible for Supplier Management relationships to support the needs of the business and ensure that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments.
Developing Capability and Performance: - Responsible for supporting Seadrill's business level digital transformation initiatives through IT transformation initiatives and delivery services.
- Responsible for overseeing the management of the delivery of agreed solutions are in compliance with IS Strategies, Architectures, Policies, Processes and Procedures ensuring continued business value of the service portfolio.
- Responsible for managing the lifecycle of all IS assets within agreed Financial and Governance procedures providing input into the IS Budget and IS Technology Refresh Roadmap
- Responsible for proactive management of Seadrill Information & Asset Security including network monitoring, and security.
- Service Desk Management - coordinate and improve Service Desk deliveries operated by supplier (s)
- Responsible for ensuring Continuous Service improvement measures are applied within the IS function. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements Background & Skills - Ten or more years of professional Information Services experience desirable preferably with the Oil and Gas industry.
- Excellent ITIL Service Operations and Service Delivery knowledge with excellent Supplier Management, communications, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong experience and evidence of leading strategic IT programs supporting Operational and central functions that have achieved significant improvements in business efficiency, risk reduction or productivity.
- Strong Experience with business relationship management.
- Must be results orientated with ability to achieve aggressive goals.
- Have the ability to effectively work cross-functionally with and through business, IS managers and outsource partners, across multiple geographies.
- Excellent portfolio management skills with the ability to meet challenging milestones.
- Able to represent the ISIT organization as part of the broader team.
- Experience of business reference models, the design and implementation of business processes.
- Expert Business Analysis and Consulting skills.
- Strong ability to identify business and functional requirements and articulate them into technical requirements for IT resources and 3rd party providers.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic roadmaps
