Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Hybrid Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your duties will include:

1. Preparing and posting various monthly journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
2. Overseeing the payroll process and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
3. Assisting with month-end closing procedures and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
5. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
6. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
7. Working closely with our Salesforce team to manage financial data and processes.
8. Collaborating with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting role.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
4. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
5. Previous experience in the marketing industry or nonprofit sector is a plus.
6. Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
11. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
