Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). You will be responsible for developing scalable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth integration with cloud platforms like Azure.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:
Designing and developing scalable web applications using SpringBoot and React JS.
Implementing microservices architecture and integrating applications with cloud platforms such as Azure.
Building and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure code quality and stability.
Managing version control and continuous integration pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other tools.
Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues across both front-end and back-end systems.
Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-15+ years of experience in application development and engineering.
Strong expertise in SpringBoot, Microservices, and Java8.
Proficiency in React JS and experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
