Job Description
For a large Low Voltage/IT infrastructure company who specializes in supporting big-box retailers, the Fire Alarm inspector will be responsible for:
• Inspecting each customer to ensure the previously installed fire alarm systems comply with all local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
• Focusing on the proper function of the alarm systems but also inspecting other systems that support fire safety.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on existing fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with local, state, and national codes.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in fire alarm systems, identifying issues through diagnostic tests and repairing or replacing faulty components as necessary.
