Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Permanent Field Service Engineer in the Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our advanced manufacturing systems. If you are passionate about technology, have a knack for problem-solving, and are eager to take on challenges in various industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defense, and more, this is the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level service and maintenance for our advanced manufacturing systems, including lasers, optical systems, photonics, capital equipment, and more.
- Perform on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
- Analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Liaise with the engineering team to address and resolve technical issues.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and other team members as needed.
- Travel to various client sites to perform field service duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a field service role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in servicing lasers, optical systems, photonics, and capital equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defense, and more.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions on the field.
- Willingness to travel and perform field service duties as required.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
