Export Coordinator - Japanese Bilingual Job Num: 56179 Logistics / Import & Export Job Description Job Purpose: To Coordinate the Exportation of our clients products by coordinating shipments with Suppliers, Vendors and Agents, documenting each transaction, keeping our clients informed and handling the shipment in accordance with Government regulations and company policy. Duties:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to clients.
• Coordinate with Shippers, Agents and Vendors via email and or by phone.
• Review and follow Routing instructions from Shippers, Overseas agents, or from Sales team.
• Identify the nature of the shipment and book the shipment with Carrier accordingly.
• Must handle Export shipments by Air and Ocean.
• Must handle DG(HazMat) shipments.
• Coordinate and or help in Packing of DG(HazMat shipments).
• Document transactions by communicating thru MS Outlook, obtain documents from Exporter, issue Truck

BOL, submit AES, Japan AFR, VGM reporting, process CARNET and or Title Validation, issue Ocean bills of lading or Air Waybills, Bill the agent or client, submit all vendor invoices to accounting for payment, and organize all related documents for company records.

• Must follow Government Regulations and our Company policies.
• Maintain quality by following existing export standards, procedures, and Government regulations.
• Employee must constantly update his/her job knowledge by keeping abreast of export regulation changes.
• Quote rates to overseas agents or to clients.
• Manage inventory of weekly Ocean export consolidation. Help receive, report, repack, identify and

coordinate received items in our warehouse related to weekly ocean export consolidation. Qualifications/Skills required: Excellent Organizational skills, He/She must have above average Communication Skills by email and by phone. Dependable, Trust-worthy and punctual, Deadline-Oriented, Service-Oriented, Resourceful, Excellent Time Management, must be able to work Independently, must also be a Team player when needed, Sharp Documentation Skills, Excellent Reporting Skills and Scheduling. Requirement: Must have at least 1 year job experience as Export Coordinator with a NVOCC/Freight Forwarder. Must be at least High School Graduate. Must give consent for background check and drug tests. DG certified is a plus but not required. Certified Forklift operator is a plus but not required.
