The Role
As our Copywriter & Content Specialist , you’ll be responsible for creating content that’s both strategic and engaging. From long-form blogs to short-form social posts and video scripts, you’ll craft stories that connect with audiences. You’ll also take ownership of content strategy, ensuring consistency across platforms and delivering on brand goals. If you love telling stories in different formats and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
● Write engaging, on-brand copy for websites, blogs, emails, press releases, product launches, and more.
● Develop short-form content for social media and other platforms, focusing on attention-grabbing and shareable storytelling.
● Shape and maintain distinct voices for Rule 1’s portfolio companies across different industries.
● Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to create and execute content strategies.
● Research audiences and competitors to ensure content is relevant and impactful.
● Use tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot to track performance and refine content.
● Bonus: Assist with video production, editing, and website content updates using Webflow.
What We’re Looking For
Storytelling Skills : You can craft clear, compelling narratives for both long-form and short-form content.
Experience : 3+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in SaaS or tech.
Strategic Thinking : You can develop content strategies that align with brand goals and resonate with audiences.
Adaptability : You’re comfortable switching between voices, brands, and industries.
SEO Knowledge : You understand how to create content that performs in search engines.
Collaboration : You work well with teams and communicate effectively.
Nice-to-Have Skills
● Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
● Basic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Figma).
● Familiarity with Webflow, Google Analytics, or HubSpot.
