Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to be a strong contributing member of the team from day one, supported by very strong training and oversight. 

• Support the Intellectual Property (IP) Team with managing IP portfolios, including trademark research, licensing and development and improvement of internal process 
• Collaborate with the Product Management Team to support IP coverage of product development initiatives through product roadmap reviews, development meetings and innovation events 
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports, presentations and track data to support the company's intellectual property pipeline 
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and help coordinate between legal, product management and R&D teams to facilitate IP identification and submissions

Qualifications

• Completed coursework in a technical discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• At least a junior or senior standing at an accredited college/university
• Strong interest in intellectual property law, product management and the casino gaming industry 
• Ability to self-pace and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and excellent organizational skills 
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
• Ability to deal with confidential company matters
• Experience with Trademark databased and search tools is preferred but not required 
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and/or Power Automate is preferred but not required

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. The hourly rate for this role is $19.00. 

All IGT employees have a role in information security. Annual training will be assigned and required as appropriate.
