Our client is a well-established single-source provider for fund administration and infrastructure needs for private equity and debt funds. They are looking to hire an AML/KYC Compliance Analyst to join their team. Key job duties include performing investor AML/KYC checks and organizing tracking logs for ongoing progress monitoring. This is a wonderful contract opportunity that offers a hybrid work schedule, and we are looking to fill the position as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Perform investor AML/KYC checks using a risk database system
• Control and follow-up on pending investor documentation by clients
• Organize tracking logs for ongoing progress monitoring
• Review and clear alerts daily generated by the risk database
• Escalate alerts to cases for further review in a timely manner, as appropriate
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; a proactive and fast learner with an eye for details as well as excellent time management and prioritization skills
• In connection with fund launch, perform AML/KYC due diligence checks and review investor identifying information provided by the client leveraging a world-class risk intelligence database

o Screen investor information at fund launch for potential concerns such as:

• Sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC, EU CFSP, and similar)
• Legal enforcement against an LP
• Identify if the LP is a politically exposed person (PEP)
• Surface negative news against an LP and affiliated entities
• Conduct ongoing investor screening leveraging risk intelligence database
• Perform similar screens on LP transferees as applicable

Qualifications:

• Must have AML knowledge.
• Regulatory framework knowledge a plus.
